Lauren earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology from University of California, Irvine. She played three years of NCAA Division-1 Volleyball for the Anteaters, ZOT ZOT! Lauren began her journey with Pilates in 2012. Injuries from being a student athlete left her with muscle imbalances as well as shoulder injuries amongst other tendinopathies from the wear and tear of an impact sport. She quickly learned that through the Pilates practices and philosophies she didn’t need to live in pain. She embraced Joseph Pilates’ philosophy “that a man (or woman) is as young as his (or her) spinal column.” Lauren is certified through Body Art and Science International (BASI) Pilates and has her PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) accreditation. She is passionate about helping facilitate a better quality of life for her clients as well as continuing her education in Pilates philosophies. Lauren is a firm believer that Pilates is a beneficial life long journey for everyone regardless of their age or physical abilities.

Becky is thrilled to be teaching at Club Pilates. Along with being a Pilates instructor, she is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer. She likes to incorporate both practices into her classes for a blend of Pilates with some fine muscle tuning. Her goal is to help clients find the fun in fitness, to build lean muscles, and to build functional strength in their workouts that transfer out into their everyday lives. After experiencing hip pain, Becky found Pilates as a way to alleviate her symptoms. She’s found the benefits of Pilates by working to correct muscle imbalances and hopes to share that knowledge with clients. When she is not teaching, she’s a military spouse and mom of 2 girls. She is also an avid tennis player. She also holds a chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University.
