  Local Medical Transportation

  At Stellar Transportation we strive for excellence. We provide local Melbourne medical transportation to get you where you need to go. Doctors appointments, hospice transportation, handicap transportation, elderly transportation, and more!!! No matter what your needs, we can help. We have a variety of wheelchair and stretcher vans to accommodate all kinds of needs and situations. All of our vehicles are new, 2012 model or newer, meticulously maintained, cleaned daily and detailed weekly. We take good care of our vehicles, so we can take good care of you! Your transport team will secure you in the vehicle, and deliver you not just to the door of your destination, but all the way inside. We don’t leave until you’re comfortably situated in the waiting room and checked in, or n your own home, or wherever your destination is. Our transporters are all drug, alcohol and smoke-free, rigorously trained in safety, defensive driving, HIPAA, patient sensitivity, and situation-response. We have CNAs, EMTs and off-duty paramedics on staff, and we will match you with the right transporter team for your situation and needs.

  Long Distance Medical Transportation

  At Stellar Transport we offer 2 main categories of transportation services, local and long distance. Long Distance Transportation is for rides that will be a MINIMUM of 150 miles. We will come pick you up anywhere in the state of Florida and drive you wherever you need to be, even if it is out of state! We will select the right vehicle from our fleet to make sure your ride is comfortable and enjoyable. If you need to go to Jacksonville or Miami, we have the right ride for your trip. We have several different styles of accessible vehicles, wheelchair vans and stretcher vans. They are all fully accessible, with lowered floors and raised ceilings for more ambulatory riders, and also fully loaded with ramps and lifts for wheelchair passengers. All the vehicles are late-model, 2012 or later, fully loaded and meticulously kept. We keep all the vehicles up to date on regular scheduled maintenance, and each van is disinfected every day, and professionally cleaned and detailed once a week. We take care of our vehicles, so our vehicles will take care of our riders! Depending on your situation, needs and preferences, your transport team will consist of up to five attendants. All of our team members are HIPAA certified, trained in patient and elder sensitivity, defensive driving, and taken a full-day situations and response class.

  Wheelchair and Handicap Transportation

  This is the need that started our business. Our founder’s grandmother needed wheelchair transportation, and it put such a strain on the family that the idea for this company was born. The idea was that there had to be a better way to get someone’s wheelchair bound grandparent to a doctor’s appointment, without missing half a day of work, or putting a strain on the caregiver, and the rest of the family. All of our transport crew members are trained in safe operation of the wheelchair lifts, transportation safety features, and defensive driving, as well as patient sensitivity, elder sensitivity, HIPAA rules, and situation & response guidelines. They are all drug, alcohol and smoke-free, and we have contests and prizes to reward excellence. The result is a team of caring, professional, pleasant transporters who are enthusiastic about ensuring your experience is a stellar one!

  Doctor Appointment Transportation

  Patients coming out of surgery, patients who are immobile, patients who cannot tolerate a wheelchair, can all ride in safety and comfort. Our crew will transport you from bed to bed. That means from your location, your team will transfer you to our professional stretcher, into the vehicle, and then to the bed at your location. We use Stryker and Ferno brand wheelchairs, stretchers, and other medical transportation products; all the same equipment, and standards, as the Brevard County Fire Department Services. Our crew are professionally trained to do this safely and efficiently, so your family can focus on enjoying your company, and not stressing about your safety. All stretchers come with a minimum of 2 crew members for safety. Our transporters are all drug, alcohol and smoke-free, as well as trained in patient sensitivity, safety and security processes and procedures, HIPAA, situation-response and defensive driving.

  Stretcher Transportation

  Patients coming out of surgery, patients who are immobile, patients who cannot tolerate a wheelchair, can all ride in safety and comfort. Our crew will transport you from bed to bed. That means from your location, your team will transfer you to our professional stretcher, into the vehicle, and then to the bed at your location. We have a fleet of different vans to accommodate different patients, needs and situations. We even have a van that can accommodate up to three stretchers together. Every vehicle is 2012 or newer, fully loaded and fully accessible. We keep our vehicles in top condition, with regular mechanical service, daily cleaning, and weekly detailing. We take care of our vehicles so we can take care of our passengers.

  Elderly Transportation

  80% of our patients are elderly. We understand that they move a little slower, their hearing and vision may not be as sharp as it once was, they may take a little longer to understand, and they may take a little longer to get ready and move around. We take great care to make our elderly clients feel comfortable and secure, and not rushed or stressed. Our transporters are patient and sensitive to the needs of our senior clients, and treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve. We keep a wide variety of music in the vehicles, to make the ride more enjoyable. We keep 50s’, 60’s and 70’s music on hand to ensure a pleasurable experience. Our clients really like having a music selection available for their ride. The founder of Stellar Transport previously owned and operated a limousine service. We know first-class treatment, and that is what you’ll get with us. Our pricing is almost exactly the same as the other guys. But our level of service is miles above and beyond.

  Nursing Home Transportation

  We pick up patients from nursing homes and take them to their doctor’s appointments, rehab appointments, or family events. We are experienced in navigating nursing homes and making sure to take care of all the the paperwork and other arrangements and details. We know when to call ahead to make sure the passenger is ready. We provide “door through door” service. Stellar doesn’t just wait outside for you. We come all the way to your room, to your chair or bed. We transfer you to the wheelchair or stretcher, if necessary, and take you to the van. Your transportation team may have up to 5 crew members, depending on your situation, for safety. We make sure you are safely secured in the van, and then drive you to your destination, where your team will professionally disembark you from the vehicle, take you inside, to your doctor’s office waiting room and get you checked in and settled. Our fleet includes a variety of vehicles, all fully-equipped, fully loaded, and fully accessible for your safety and comfort. Each van is 2012 or newer, cleaned daily and detailed weekly. Our service is the limousine version of the medical transport industry, but our prices are almost exactly the same as the other guys.

  Hospice Transportation

  We pick up lots of patients for Hospice. Home Hospice or outpatient Hospice, we are equipped to get you there safely, comfortably, and on time. Whether you need a ride to Hospice from your home, or a medical facility, or you’re leaving Hospice to move back to a rehab or nursing facility, we’re here for you. Our crew are all HIPAA certified and trained in patient and elder sensitivity. Every driver and transporter is drug, alcohol and smoke-free as well. We treat you and your family with the dignity and respect you deserve, just the way we’d want our family treated. That’s why this company was started. We have a variety of different vehicles in our fleet, so we can accommodate your situation, needs, and preferences. Whether you walk with a walker or cane, or you’re in a wheelchair, or even completely immobilized, we have the right vehicle to transport you safely and comfortably, wherever you need to go.   Ambulatory Transportation

  We’re equipped to transport passengers of any level of mobility. Whether you’re in a stretcher, a wheelchair, or walk with a walker or a cane, or you’re 100% mobile, we’ve got the ride for you. Our vans are easy to get into, the floors are low, the tops are raised, and there are ramps for easy entry and exit. We have a wide variety of vehicles in our fleet to accommodate all kinds of situations. Every one of our vehicles is 2012 or newer. We keep them in top condition so you have a first-class experience; every vehicle is cleaned every day, and detailed once a week. Your safety, comfort, and positive experience are our top priorities. We even keep a wide selection of music available in each vehicle, to make your ride more enjoyable!

  We give special rates for regular patient rides. If you have a regular treatment schedule, we will work with you to arrange your regular transportation to your ongoing treatment, and you’ll get discounted regular-rider rates. We have a variety of vehicles to choose from, all late-model (2012 or newer), fully loaded, fully accessible, and meticulously kept, for optimal comfort and safety. Each vehicle is fully equipped for accessibility, comfort and safety, and we will match you with the right wheels to make sure you get the best possible experience. We even keep a wide variety of music on board, to make your ride as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.

  Bariatric Transportation

  The larger the patient, the more crew members will attend the ride. We want our passengers to be safe and comfortable, so we make sure to have enough support to get you where you need to go, without any issues. We have 24” wheelchairs and stretchers for your safety and comfort. All of our staff and transporters are HIPAA certified, as well as trained in patient and elder sensitivity, defensive driving, safety and security features of the medical transportation products, and situation and response guidelines. We treat every passenger with dignity and respect, because every passenger is someone’s family, mother, father, sister, brother, and that’s how we would want our family members treated. That’s why this company was started in the first place! We have a variety of different style vehicles in our fleet, all newer model, 2012 or later, fully loaded for your security and comfort.
