The actual treatment itself only takes 2-3 minutes with the Picosure laser. Sessions are spaced out every 6-8 weeks. A topical numbing gel, cream, can be applied to the skin prior to treatment for comfort but is not needed. After the treatment an Epidermal Repair cream from SkinCeuticals will be applied to the skin and wrapped to protect the area immediately after your tattoo removal. About the procedure Microneedling with radiofrequency, like other Microneedling procedures, creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production.
